EatPastry Gluten-Free Baking Mixes

Everyone knows EatPastry from their delicious tubs of Cookie Dough, but now they've branched out and created three new Gluten-Free Baking Mixes! EatPastry knows I'm all about easy-to-make food, so they sent me all three mixes to try out: Buttermilk Biscuit, Chocolate Chip Muffin and Chocolate Cake. The only ingredients required are non-dairy milk, oil and, for the Buttermilk Biscuit, margarine. But there are helpful add-ons and other suggestions on how to use the mixes. Total Lazy Vegan food!

I started off with the Chocolate Chip Muffins. Like I said above, you only have to add two ingredients, do a bit of mixing and then bake. Soooo simple. The end result was some scrumptious tasting muffins! I don't go out of my way to buy gluten-free products, but these were great. If you didn't tell me they were gluten-free I probably wouldn't have known any better. I also don't usually think about chocolate chips in muffins, but they work great.

Next was the Chocolate Cake. I went rogue and followed the back instructions for brownies instead. This included adding chocolate chips and walnuts. Whoa, was it was good! A very tasty brownie and a piece of cake (heehee) to make. Being gluten-free presented no problems. Easily, my favorite of the three. I'm sure the basic cake is great too, but I'd say to go for the brownies.

The savory option of the three is the Buttermilk Biscuits. I don't know about you, but I still crave those biscuits from KFC. That was always my jam and I was hoping these would give me some faint memory of those. Shockingly, they did! Now I'm not saying they are identical or anything, but they taste damn good. Eat them while warm because they get a little crumbly when cold. A perfect addition to you winter stew or soup.

EatPastry said you should start seeing the Baking Mixes pop up in the Southwest region of Whole Foods and also on their website in a couple days. I enjoyed each of the mixes and I hope you get to try them soon!

Louisville Vegan Jerky Co. Gluten Free Jerky

You may remember a couple years ago when I reviewed some outstanding Vegan Jerky from Morels. It was easily the best jerky I've ever had. Well, Morels has become Louisville Vegan Jerky Co. and they have some new flavors! It's still the best jerky I've ever had. The consistency is soft but chewy and the flavors are rich and mouth watering. And since they use soy protein, all of the flavors are gluten-free. LVJC was kind enough to send me some samples to try out and review. So right now there are three flavors, but you can participate in the Indiegogo and get their fourth flavor before everyone else does! But first, let's talk about these three.

Out of the three flavors, Bourbon Smoked Black Pepper was my favorite. Sweet but with a tiny bit of pepper kick, I'm totally addicted! It goes down so smooth, next thing you know, the bag is empty. Yum City. My next favorite was the Sriracha Maple Jerky. I'm not a huge Sriracha fan, but mixed with maple, it's heavenly. Not very spicy, but it has a hint of warmth. And last of the jerkies was the Bourbon Smoked Spicy Chipotle Jerky. Now this one is spicy! Not too much, but you'll definitely taste those chipotles. I'm not a spice person, but these are still high on my nom factor.

So that brings us to their new flavor, Sesame Teriyaki! The only way to get it is to purchase it through their Indiegogo. There are different price levels, but I would advise getting all four flavors. LVJC is seriously the best jerky I've ever had and I hope you get to snarf it down like I did!

Amy's Vegan Veggie Loaf

Ok, let's go back to the year 2000. I was on the verge of going Vegetarian, I was trying new foods like meat-analogs and dairy-free milks and I was getting tempeh and hummus mixed up (I'm from Nebraska, cut me some slack.) Tofu seemed like this wonderful protein that I had no idea what to do with. Organic produce had more flavor and I consumed more veggies than I ever had before.

But one thing I really appreciated was Amy's frozen dinners. They were on the natural side of things, with great ingredients, but the food didn't seem super alien to me. I could relate to a frozen dinner, it wasn't intimidating. Anyway, my first Amy's frozen dinner was the Veggie Loaf. I was blown away by the flavor and the texture and I knew I was on the right path. It was my favorite frozen dinner up until I went Vegan in 2003. You see, the Veggie Loaf had honey and all these years I've been upset that honey was the only thing keeping me from eating it. Like, change the one ingredient and so many more people can enjoy the dinner. Well, to my surprise, Amy's finally got rid of the honey and now I can once again enjoy some delicious Veggie Loaf!

So after all these years, I finally have a Vegan Amy's Veggie Loaf in front my face. I'm trying to remember what the old Veggie Loaf was like. As I recall, the loaf itself was denser and the tray had separate compartments for the sides. I kinda remember a dessert of some type? Also, I'm pretty sure the original wasn't gluten-free. Anyway, this is a totally different meal and I'm ok with that.

The new loaf is tasty, something that would be an excellent gateway food for a veg interested person. It's familiar enough while still having some of the characteristics of meat. The veggies, mashed potatoes and gravy were good as well. Everything cooked evenly in the microwave and was delicious. My only complaint would be that it seems like less food than it used to be. I know it's not the year 2000 anymore, so that's just wishful thinking. But you know me, I could easily eat two of these dinners.

I'm happy Amy's finally made their Veggie Loaf Vegan, and it's definitely back on my list of favorites. Thinking about the old Veggie Loaf made me nostalgic and it really got me to think about my long and windy road to Veganism. I'm glad Amy's was there at that transitional time in my life and it's exciting to relive that again.

Veestro Vegan Frozen Dinners

Veestro is a company that delivers frozen Vegan meals to you home. I didn't realize there was such a service until Mark, the co-owner, contacted me about reviewing some of Veestro's products. Of course I said yes! About a week later I got this huge box full of goodies. There was quite a variety, with all kinds of Vegan goodness. Everything from soups, entrees, salads and even cookies. Best yet, every meal is Organic and GMO-free!

Savory Croquettes with Veggie Hash. Probably my favorite meal of the bunch! Yummy tofu croquettes, veggies and sauce.

Mediterranean Skillet. Loved the bacon tempeh on this one. And plenty of veggies to keep you feeling healthy.

Red Curry with Tofu and Vegetables. I'm not a big fan of curry, but I was loving this tofu curry! I also dug the rounds of brown rice.

Enchilada Casserole. Not the prettiest frozen dinner I've ever seen, but the great flavor makes up for it.

Risotto with Butternut Squash and Kale. You don't typically see risotto in a frozen dinner. Not bad!

Roasted Beet & Kale Salad. The yummy dressing came on the side, not pictured here. A well rounded salad.

Soba Noodles with Peanut Sauce. This was pretty gingery. All I had to do was microwave the noodles, sauce and throw it all together.

Tortilla Soup. This soup came in a packet that you microwave, and poof, Spicy Tortilla Soup!

Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookies. I was loving these cookies! And I didn't have to do anything, just had to thaw them out.

Overall, I was very impressed with the quality and the flavors or Veestro's food. Looking at their prices, they do cost more than your typical frozen dinner. But with that said, the premium is more than worth it. The meals are chef-created using the highest quality Organic non-GMO ingredients. Give 'em a try and let me know what you think! You can buy any of these items individually, by pack or build your own pack. Bon appetit!

Earth Balance Vegan Sour Cream & Onion Kettle Chips

I'm an unapologetic chip lover. I'm not saying to eat chips for every meal of the day, but if you think chips will ruin your life or your diet, you have other issues going on. One variety of chips I haven't had since going Vegan are sour cream & onion. I always liked them, but I thought a Vegan version would be close to impossible. Well, I'm happy to report that Earth Balance has made an excellent Sour Cream & Onion Kettle Chip that might even fool non-Vegans!

The Kettle chip is a harder chip, which I can either take or leave. The flavor on the other hand is 100% zesty tang. They actually used Vegan sour cream which is awesome! It tastes like the real thing to me. I'm also happy to report that they are Gluten-free, Non-GMO and Kosher. So score another one for the Vegans, we finally have a sour cream & onion chip! So what's next?

Hilary's Eat Well Original Veggie Bites

Falafel, hush puppies and nuggets are some of my favorite things; they're tiny little balls of goodness that are cute and fun to eat. Those were my thoughts as I ate a whole bag of Hilary's Eat Well Original Veggie Bites. I love Hilary's Veggie Burgers and these are just as good if not better. And exactly like the burgers, these are gluten-free. Ok, let's take a look at these mini nuggets of goodness.

They really are a mixture of all my favorite bite size foods. The breading reminds me of falafel, the inside has the doughiness of hush puppies and the size is classic nugget. But I won't take anything away from the Veggie Bite, it is unique and delicious! The ingredients are gold; millet, quinoa, spinach, onion, garlic and sweet potato make Veggie Bites irresistible. I had mine with some ketchup, but sky's the limit. BBQ sauce, Vegenaise or Franks Red Hot all would make a tasty dip. Or simply eat them bare and enjoy the oniony garlicky flavor. I didn't eat them with a side, but I imagine fries, tater tots or even a side salad would be a perfect accompaniment.

So, if you like fun, bite sized food, I think Hilary's Veggie Bites are what you've been waiting for!

Phoney Baloney's Coconut Bacon

One of the most exciting products I've encountered this year is Phoney Boloney's Coconut Bacon. The coconut bacon is the brain child of Kyle Domer aka Vegan Vagrant. Just the idea of coconut bacon makes my mouth water, so I ordered some ASAP. The flavor is amazing because it really has that deep smokey bacon taste and to my surprise, the fatty element of bacon is somewhat reproduced and it almost melts in your mouth. The best part is that it has tons of uses and you can rub it in hipster faces that your bacon is cruelty free AND tasty.

As you can see, it really livens up a salad! I love the size and the texture. A bonus is that the bacon flakes are soft and not hard like Bacon Bits. I've been putting them on my salad more often then not this summer. Probably not the most low fat option out there, but it's mega delicious and filling. If you want instant flavor, here you go!

And if you are an ambitious Vegan, you should try Isa's recipe for Butterscotch Coconut-Bacon Cupcakes which uses Phoney Baloney's Coconut Bacon as a topping. Isa made these for Omaha Vegan Drinks and they were a monster hit! The salty coconut bacon mixed with the sweet cupcake was such a revelation. I'm think I want these again sooner than later, they're so good.

So go hunt down some Phoney Baloney's Coconut Bacon and let me know what you think!

Dandies Air-Puffed Vanilla Marshmallows

Marshmallows have always been one of the Vegan Holy Grails. Stupid gelatin is in a lot of the good things we grew up with, including marshmallows. Thankfully there are a couple Vegan companies out there that have figured out a way to make amazing marshmallows without using gelatin. Sweet & Sara, which most of you know well, is the answer to gourmet marshmallows. And then there's Dandies made by Chicago Vegan Foods. I've always felt Dandies was the answer to old school Kraft Jet Puffed Marshmallows, which I loved as a kid. The Star Trek V Kraft Marshmallow Dispenser is laser etched into my brain and I wish I had one for this blog post. It was fun to see how many puffy marshmallows you could fit in your mouth at one time.

Texture-wise, Dandies are really close to non-vegan marshmallows, puffy and soft. They even have that powdery coated outside skin, which I love, and the taste is pure vanilla mashmallowy goodness! The best part is how versatile they are. From rice krispie treats, to hot cocoa and smores to just eating them one by one while you write a blog post, you're gonna' love them. And I've never done it, but I've heard they are fabulous charred over a campfire. If you haven't had the pleasure of eating a dandies, do me a favor and try one soon!

Lucy's Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookies

While sprucing up my blog for Vegan MoFo, I glanced at my sidebar and noticed Gluten Free was one of my top tags. I was pretty surprised because I don't go out of my way to eat Gluten Free; actually, I eat a lot of gluten! Maybe it's because a lot of Vegan food is Gluten Free by default, which is great for everyone.

On a semi-related note, Omaha recently got a Akin's Natural Foods Market so you know I scoped it out for Vegan goodies. What I found were these Gluten Free Lucy's Chocolate Chip Cookies, and I decided to put them to the Laziest Vegans chocolate chip cookie test. If I know anything, it's a good chocolate cookie. Would gluten free measure up?

My first thought was "Pleasantly Surprised!" I've had some Gluten Free cookies that were straight up blah and tasteless, but these were excellent. They reminded me a little of Chips Ahoy, right down to the crunch of the cookie. Some people prefer a moist cookie but I can go either way. The chips were crispy, sweet and decadent. If you gave me a blind taste test, I'd never guess this was a Gluten Free cookie. So Lucy's Chocolate Chip Cookie is a win-win for everyone: Vegan, Gluten Free and Nut Free!

Nature's Path Envirokidz Lightly Frosted Amazon Flakes

Welcome to day one of Vegan MoFo VII! This is my fourth Vegan MoFo, but in some ways I still feel like a newbie. If you've never been to my blog before, it's all about pre-packaged Vegan foods. Once in awhile I'll talk about trips I take (like my forthcoming Vida Vegan Con post) or spotlight prominent Vegans in The Laziest Vegans Top Ten. But anyway, that's what I'm all about... now let's talk about some Vegan cereal!

If you look at any one of my cereal blog posts, a common complaint of mine is the lack of fun Vegan cereals. Yeah, I know there is every kind of whole grain, super healthy, vitamin fortified cereal out there, but I just want some damn Vegan Lucky Charms. With that said, one of my favorite brands is Nature's Path. Everything is organic and a majority of their products are Vegan. And they even have a cereal line aimed at kids like me called Envirokidz. So you could say the Envirokidz Lightly Frosted Amazon Flakes jumped out at me when I saw them.

There's not a whole lot to them honestly! Very simple ingredients: corn meal, evaporated cane juice and sea salt. I thought they had great flavor and sweetness. And if for some strange reason they aren't sweet enough for you, I'd add some strawberries or blueberries. In closing, I think kids and adults would enjoy Amazon Flakes since they are sweet but not cloyingly so.

What kind of Vegan cereal would you like to see?

Qrunch Spicy Italian Quinoa Burgers

I love quinoa, as I'm sure you do, too. Is there someone out there that hates quinoa? I hope not! If anything, I wish there was more readily available pre-packaged quinoa based meals. So with that said, I was eagerly anticipating these Spicy Italian Quinoa burgers from Qrunch. Everything about these burgers sound delicious to me. And since they are made with quinoa, they are gluten-free, soy-free, nut-free and dairy-free. Perfect for almost anyone!

The flavor is spicy without being too hot. I love topping it with Vegenaise, lettuce (or kale) and tomato to compliment the spice. The patty is pretty dense and very filling. I would describe it as breaded "chick'n"-like, crispy on the outside and soft inside. Their preferred method is an oven or skillet but I prefer a minute and a half in the microwave, even though they tell you not to. My only complaint would be the price ($7.50 or so for 4) but to me it's worth it. If you're ready to spice things up a bit, and want to try a different kind of veggie burger I think the Qrunch Spicy Italian Quinoa Burger is an awesome choice.

Vega One All-In-One Nutrition Bars

New from Vega is the Vega One All-In-One Nutrition Bar. My favorite new product of 2012 was the Vega One Shake, so I was pretty excited to sample these bars. When I heard the name I assumed they would be similar to the shake, but that isn't the case. I would have loved to see a French Vanilla bar, but maybe next time!

Basically, the Vega One Bar is a chocolate covered protein bar designed for pre/during/post workout or whenever you need a shot of dense, Vegan sustenance. Vega has been kind enough to send me some bars to try out. I've been eating them after the gym and I must say they're pretty filling. So I've had a couple weeks with the bars to form my opinions. Are the Vega One Bars right for you?

Well, I hope you like chocolate! Each of the three bars is covered in chocolate, which makes them seem a little like a candy bar. Being that they are covered in chocolate, you don't want to leave them in your car on a hot day (like I did, whoops!) The three flavor choices are: Chocolate Almond, Double Chocolate and Chocolate Cherry. Chocolate Almond has a nice almond flavor with a little bit of crunch. Double Chocolate is a chocolate lover's dream with chocolate on the inside and outside, giving it a brownie taste. Chocolate Cherry lives up to its name with dried cherries and cherry flavor in the bar. Being that all three bars are basically chocolate, the differences are subtle. My favorite is the Cherry, but any of them would be great after a workout.

Now, you're not going to mistake these for a Go Max Go Bars, but for the amount of nutrition packed in one bar (15 grams protein, 6 grams fiber and tons of other vitamins) I think they taste pretty darn good. My only complaint would be the lack of a non-chocolate variety. So, if you are looking for a convenient shot of protein and vitamins, take a look at the Vega One Bar!

Beyond Meat Chicken-Free Strips

Beyond Meat is a new company that recently released a chicken-less protein strip that has been eagerly anticipated for a while. Biz Stone (the Co-founder of Twitter) is an investor, so there has been a lot of hype (even outside of the Vegan community) that Beyond Meat is the next meat alternative game-changer. The first time I tried Beyond Meat was at the Whole Foods salad bar. I really wasn't blown away by it, but I chalked that up to the fact it hadn't been cooked or seasoned. But now that Beyond Meat has graciously sent me all three flavors of their strips, I'm going to cook some up and see if the hype is real.

First off, after eating cooked the cooked Chicken-Free Strips for the first time, I NEVER want to eat them raw again. The cooked version with a little bit of oil is so much better, it's like night and day. I haven't had chicken in over ten years, but as far as I can remember, Beyond Meat tastes eerily similar. Not to the point where I'm weirded out because I think I thought I just ate chicken, but it definitely has those flavors you're going to remember. As for the texture, I thought it was spot on. Now if that's your cup of tea, well, that's up to you.  I love that you can throw them into a salad, pasta, taco or virtually anything.

On the plus side, I think meat eaters will dig this. In fact, I bet a lot of meat eaters would prefer Beyond Meat when cost, social responsibility and health are taken into account. Maybe that's just me being a optimistic Vegan, but I believe people in the end would like to do the right thing. When it comes to the three different flavors, there are subtle differences. I think the Grilled was my favorite -- of course it has grill marks and a smokey flavor. The Southwest Style had some spice to it and the Lightly Seasoned had a bit of a salty flavor. Overall, I think the flavors are subtle enough to put them in any dish you want.

So, the good news is I think think the hype on Beyond Meat Chicken-Free Strips is warranted. My only suggestion is to cook it up in a skillet. Will all Vegans like it? No. Will some meat eaters like it? Yes. And to me, that's the most important aspect. If we can get meat eaters to eat less animals, it will make a difference. Give it a try and tell me what you think!

Daiya Mushroom & Roasted Garlic Pizza

The newest entry into the Vegan frozen pizza world is from Daiya. Not content with conquering the Vegan cheese world, Daiya has four new pizzas that have been highly anticipated ever since they were announced. I chose to review the Mushroom & Roasted Garlic Pizza, but you can also get the Cheeze Lover's, Margherita and Fire-Roasted Vegetable. One of the main selling points of these pizzas is that they're gluten-free. While I'm not gluten-free, I think it's exciting Celiacs and wheat-sensitive people have four brand new pizzas to choose from.

Right off the bat, I have to address the cost and size of the pizza. The pizza box gives the illusion that the pizza is bigger than it really is. In reality, the pizza is 12 oz, or the same as an Amy's Pizza. Also, the Daiya Pizza is a little bit pricier compared to Amy's or even Tofurky. In Daiya's defense, I'm sure the gluten-free crust is costlier (the Amy's gluten-free pizza tends to cost more) and therefore, they must charge more. But I think most people will probably complain about the $9.99 price. Ok, but how does it taste?

Well, I was a little disappointed. I felt the flavor was a bit muted. I would have liked some more sauce or something to give it a little zing. Or possibly more toppings. Texture and style-wise, the pizza reminded me of a Tofurky Pizza. The crust is thin and the veggies are diced. You get two styles of Daiya cheese, with the right amount. As for the crust, I thought it was just ok. A little too thin for my taste.

In the end, I'm glad there's another Vegan pizza choice out there, but the price is high and the flavor isn't as compelling as I would like. It's not in my upper echelon of favorite pizzas, but when it goes on sale I'd definitely like to try the other flavors.

Nature's Path Organic Corn Flakes

It seems the older I get, the more conservative I get...with my cereal. Don't get me wrong, If someone finally came up with a crazy Vegan marshmallow cereal (a la Lucky Charms) I'd be the first in line. But for the most part, I've been avoiding super sweet cereals. Enter Nature's Path Organic Fruit Juice Sweetened Corn Flakes. A great basic cereal that is lightly sweetened and has uncomplicated ingredients. Corn meal and/or yellow corn flour, grape and/or pear juice concentrate, sea salt. That's it. All while being Organic and Gluten Free.

The cereal by itself does have a slight sweetness, but nothing that's going to blow you away and make you say "this was sweetened by a pear!" I tried the cereal by itself with unsweetened almond milk and it was tatsy. If you like a bit more sweetness, try some banana or strawberries to liven things up. Either way, it's a great way to start your morning!

Dr. Cow Aged Cashew and Macadamia Nut Cheese

Earlier this year, I had Dr. Cow Aged Cashew Cheese for the first time. I'm not much of a hard cheese connoisseur, but I was seriously blown away! The Aged Cashew Cheese is so delicious, I knew I had to buy some more so I could blog about it. To up the ante, I also purchased some Dr. Cow Macadamia Nut Cheese to compare. Dr. Cow promotes their cheese as Tree Nut Cheese, which is a cute way of saying it's Vegan without scaring off non-Vegans. Dr. Cow Tree Nut Cheese is also organic, raw, unpasteurized and gluten-free.

I could probably eat the cheese by itself very easily, but I decided to pair it with some Late July Classic Rich Crackers. Classic Rich Crackers are very buttery, just like Ritz. A great organic cracker that I find myself buying all the time.

The Aged Cashew Cheese has some salty ranch notes. I can taste the cashew flavor, but it's so refined, you might not notice. Comparing it to real cheese, I would say it has a smoked Swiss flavor. I'm in love with Aged Cashew and will go on the record as saying it's (presently) my favorite cheese. Aged Macadamia Cheese has some fruity notes. I got a strong macadaminan flavor. Very tangy and a little mustardy. I found it a little softer than the Cashew Cheese, which isn't a bad thing.

So if you love hard cheese or cracker cheese, I think you'll really enjoy Dr. Cow. I can recommend the Cashew and Macadamia for sure, and I hope to try the other varieties soon! If you can't find it in your area, Vegan Essentials is having a 10% off sale for the entire month of October, using coupon code "mofo!"

Hilary's Eat Well Veggie Burgers

Hiding at your local Whole Foods is Hilary's Eat Well Veggie Burgers. The reason I say hiding is because Hilary's contacted me about reviewing their burgers and I said I would be more than happy to, but my Whole Foods didn't carry Hilary's Eat Well products. Hilary's said they did, so the next day I went to Whole Foods and sure enough, there was the Spicy Green Chili Adzuki Bean Burger and The World's Best Veggie Burger tucked away in a small box in the freezer section. So they're hard to spot, but the good news is, once you find them, you'll never forget.

There are two burgers per package and one wrapper, so there's no box waste. A pretty nifty idea I think. Also both burgers nut-free and gluten-free, great if you have those allergies. Another amazing thing is that you can cook them in the oven, microwave, skillet OR the toaster. So let's take a look!

Did the World's Best Veggie Burger live up to it's name? It was definitely my favorite of the two. Some of the major ingredients include millet, quinoa, sweet potatoes, spinach and onion. It almost has a chick'n patty flavor more so than a meaty flavor, which I liked. I toasted the burger in the max toaster setting and it came out pretty good. It was a bit dry but once you get ketchup or Vegenaise on the patty, you'll be in good shape. I thought it was a pretty delicious burger and one of my new favs.

The Spicy Green Chili Adzuki Bean Burger was rockin' as well. It also has millet, quinoa, sweet potatoes, onions but it also has green chiles and obviously adzuki beans. I microwaved the Adzuki Burger and it got a tad mushy, but toasting may resolve that. I loved the spiciness! It's a great contrast to the other burger. Try some Vegenaise, tomatoes and lettuce, so good! I'll definitely be picking these up again.

Bottom line: I was pretty impressed with these burgers and it's a shame I didn't notice them sooner. I would try them for sure if you are into burgers that don't have a strong meaty flavor. The option of toasting is pretty ingenious and being allergy-friendly is nice, too. Head down to your Whole Foods and give 'em a try!

Organic Gluten-Free Bumble Bars

A couple of months ago, Bumble Bar asked me if I was interested in trying some of their sesame bars. I've seen them in the store before but for whatever reason I never bought them. Of course I said yes. And as you will see, they send me a ton!

The Bumble Bar is organic, gluten-free and primarily made out of sesame seeds. One of the things I like about Bumble Bars is that the bars themselves aren't hard. A lot of bars on the market are kind of a difficult to eat, but the Bumble Bar is very fun to eat with its sesame seed texture. It's pliable but it doesn't fall apart on you. You have two size choices and over a dozen different flavors. I didn't get too deep into the individual flavors because you know what flavors you will gravitate too. Let's just say I didn't have a flavor I didn't like!

Chocolate Crisp

Original Peanut

Amazing Almond
The junior sized bars seemed to be my favorite. The smaller portion was perfect... not too little, not too big. This one would be great for kids. All three flavors really hit the spot too: Chocolate Crisp, Original Peanut and Amazing Almond.

Chocolate Mint

Lushus Lemon

Awesome Apricot

Chocolate Peanut Butter

Cherry Chocolate

Chai Almond
There are a lot more flavor choices in the bigger size! One of these bars will definitely soothe an appetite for an hour or two. I was putting them in my lunch box and they were excellent for snack break. The Cherry Chocolate, Lushus Lemon and Chai Almond were really calling my name.

So if you are looking for a healthy, nutritional snack bar, Bumble Bar is an excellent choice. I love the texture and the fact that there are so many flavors. Thanks again to Bumble Bar for pointing out despite the name, that they are all Vegan. Shows what I know!
